My parents, for me, always – 24 hours, 365 days. Any joy, any sorrow.

B – Best friend:
Changes more often than Elizabeth Taylor’s husbands. But my close friends do continue to remain close, even if time and distance create a few gaps.

C – Cake or Pie?
Both. And anything that comes along.

D – Drink of choice:
Coffee at home, tea outside home (I like only my coffee)

E – Essential thing used everyday
My PC. I would be totally lost without it.

Green

Neither! Give me chocolate any day

Chennai

I – Indulgence:
Food and clothes, for me, kids and hubby

January. It always seems to fly

L – Life:
Never expect to map it. Live each day. But do save for day-after-tomorrow. And eat well.

Mid-May, during the peak of Chennai’s famed Agni Nakshatram

N – Number of siblings:
One – an elder sis

O – Oranges or apples:
Both. You can add mango, grapes, pineapple, pears, jackfruit, banana, melon…

P – Phobias:
Lizards, and a lot many of their creepy cousins. Eeeks!

Q – Quote:
“Sign muttaal sarva muttaal.” Roughly translates into: He who makes ‘sign’ mistakes (+ or -) is an all-round fool. My mum dinned it into my head for maths while I was in school but somehow it seems to apply to life in general. Small errors in judgment can lead to major changes in our lives.

I was such a cranky kid/teenager that I never really expected to be a well-adjusted adult. I am. That’s reason to smile.

Autumn. Whatever that may mean in Chennai.
