You were wrong, Amma

Posted by: inbavalli on: June 29, 2009

You said the toughest thing for a mother is to watch her daughter in labour. There’s something scarier, Amma – it’s watching your teenaged son on a bicycle. Especially when your son imagines he’s a macho hero driving a bike.

that’s absolutely right. later the toughest would t urn to be pillion ride on a motor cycle with your son

I just happened to stumble on your blog and I think it is great, esp the ones about your relationship with the kids. I do beg to differ on this one, though, the toughest thing to watch is your son taking the car for the first time and going to meet his friends. Your stomach churns with anxiety. In my case, my husband followed him discreetly, or so he thought, at a distance. Unfortunately, he was spotted by our new driver who was diligently watching the traffic in his rear – view mirror!
